Remote Jobs - Work from Home

As a recruiter, I get asked frequently about work from home or remote jobs. The first thing I do is caution job seekers to do some research on any company that is offering a remote position. Sticking with national, well known companies is typically your best option. Random posts on social media about work at home jobs are usually scams, so watch out! Below are several resources and companies that offer legitimate work from home / remote job opportunities.  Some are location specific, although remote.  Be sure and search keywords such as remote or work from home, as some links will take you to the main careers page.  More details on each position are also posted on separate blog posts here.

You may not have heard of Zocdoc, but I recently saw a commercial on TV for them. They provide an online service where you can research and book doctors, specialists, and dentists that accept your insurance. Current remote job openings at Zocdoc include Customer Success Associates, Total Reward Manager, Account Executives, Sales Executives and Sales Managers. I'm sure you've seen the PC Matic commercials on TV - they are widely known for being an American company that protects your home and business computers from viruses, malware, ransomware, etc. 100% of their employees are remote! Jobs at PC Matic include Tech Support, Product Developers, Customer Support, Sales, and Malware Researchers. You will be able to travel a bit as they meet twice a year for company meetings, and positions such as sales have more travel involved. They also have great benefits! Molina Healthcare, a health insurance company with headquarters in California, has various remote job openings. Their main career page has different categories for their job openings, so you may want to check there as well, and sign up for their job alerts in the categories you have experience in. Viking Cruises - If you have a background in the travel industry, particularly air travel, Viking has an Air Operations Specialist remote opening.

RiteAid - National pharmacy chain with part time and full time openings including customer service, pharmacy tech, executive assistant, legal, accounting, human resources, and more!

Cigna - Well known for insurance and healthcare, with remote openings in marketing, sales, customer service, claims, finance, and more.

Netflix - Your best friend when it comes to binge watching your favorite shows

Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Famous for “We’ll Pick You Up”, Enterprise has remote job openings.

Traveler’s Insurance - Well known national insurance company offering fully remote job options.

Intuit TurboTax - if you have a background in tax preparation and/or accounting, check out the remote jobs at Intuit!

PNC Bank - PNC Bank has over 30 remote jobs listed on their careers page, ranging from relationship managers to business analysts, customer service positions, help desk, and more.
